How long will my shoes be protected if I wear them every day?

Can Crystalline Protection and Cleaner be used on any shoe material?

Can I also clean and protect my used shoes?
The starter kit is specially designed for (virtually) new shoes, as dirt has often not yet set in. You can of course also treat old, dirty shoes with the products, but you may need a slightly stronger cleaner for that.
