As a company, we have always focused on developing new ways of cleaning and protecting. The foundation of this is a surface that is clean down to the pores. With our vision: leaving a green footprint. That's why we don't use chemicals or aggressive agents, but natural processes that are never harmful to people, animals, or the environment.
This approach has given us a strong position in the industry over the past decades. Companies like Fletcher Hotels, Holland Casino, Jumbo, the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration, Crown Plaza, NS (Dutch Railways), Chemelot, DSM, Rijkswaterstaat (the Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management), and Coca-Cola have been working with our solutions for years.
Now we're bringing that same technology to consumers. The sneaker and shoe market is still heavily reliant on chemicals that are short-lived, require frequent reapplication, and are harmful to both your health and the environment.
This is how REINS was born: sustainable protection that actually works. No more lengthy polishing or using harsh chemicals. One treatment every six months, maintained with a damp cloth or REINS cleaner, is enough to keep your shoes looking like new.

HOW IT WORKS
The secret? The power of sand and light. Our recipe is called Kristalin: minuscule crystals dissolved in water. The water is simply the vehicle for applying the crystals to your shoe. This is done with a special ultrasonic atomizer; efficient and economical.
The crystals nestle deep within the pores of the material. That's why every shoe must be completely clean first, even new shoes, as they always contain production residue.
As soon as the crystals come into contact with light, they become electrically charged and act like small batteries. They form an open grid that doesn't affect the breathability of the material, but continuously breaks down organic dirt. The dirt no longer has a chance to adhere, so you simply wipe it away, and your shoes stay looking like new with minimal effort.
A little light is enough to keep the crystals active, even at night while you sleep.
