Coating vs. crystalline protection: what is the difference?
Traditional shoe sprays work with a coating, a layer that lies on top of the material and wears off over time. Effective for a while, but not for long.
REINS crystalline protection works fundamentally differently. The formula is based anastase-derived mineral extract: a crystal structure that responds to light. Once the protective layer has been applied and dries, the crystals activate when exposed to daylight, artificial light or sunlight. From that moment on, they start working for you 24/7, organic dirt such as mud, dust and bacteria is continuously broken down at molecular level.

Six months of protection in three steps
The REINS starter kit contains everything you need, including the ultrasonic nebulizer, cleaner and microfiber cloths. This is how you proceed:
Step 1: Cleaning. Spray the REINS cleaner on a microfiber cloth and remove dust and (factory) contamination from the shoe. New sneakers also need this.
Step 2: Drying. Rub the shoe dry with the second microfiber cloth. Make sure there is no moisture left on the surface.
Step 3: Protect. Hold the nebulizer at a distance of 6 to 8 cm and spray the crystalline protection over the shoe in gentle movements. Apply two layers. You can wear the shoes after a few minutes, optimal adhesion is achieved after 72 hours.
Pro tip: regularly place your sneakers in daylight or sunlight for optimal activation of the crystals.
