REINS protection is based on anastase-derived mineral extract, a crystal structure that reacts to light. This is a naturally occurring mineral form known for its photo catalytic properties: upon exposure to light, a chemical reaction is triggered that breaks down organic substances.
Translated to your sneakers: as soon as the protective layer has been applied and dried, the crystals activate upon contact with daylight, artificial light, or sunlight. From that moment on, they work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; dirt, bacteria, and organic contamination are continuously broken down before they can penetrate the material.

Why it lasts so long
A standard coating wears off in rain, friction, and use. The crystal structure of REINS adheres to the material differently and remains active as long as there is light. That is also why it is recommended to regularly place your sneakers in daylight or sunlight, not for the appearance, but for the effectiveness.
The result: at least 6 months of protection per treatment, with normal daily use in the city.

The formula is completely water-based. No solvents, no harmful fumes. You can simply use it indoors at the kitchen table. And the composition speaks for itself:
